Christopher Milligan
Christopher heads up the Conspiracy Solicitor Department with his wealth of knowledge in Criminal Law, in particular large scale criminal conspiracy cases.
Christopher studied law at Northumbria University and attended the Bar Vocational Course at the Inns of Court School of Law. Christopher was called to the Bar in 1993 to practise as a barrister and later dual qualified as a solicitor. He initially practised as a barrister on the Midland and Oxford Circuit prior to joining Bird and Co Solicitors with multiple offices across the East Midlands.
Christopher became a partner of that Firm in 1996 and became Senior Partner in April 2001. He oversaw the Firm’s expansion, subsequent conversion to LLP status and latterly setting up the Conspiracy Solicitor brand.
Conspiracy Solicitor was set up to fill the void left by High Street firms lacking the knowledge or resources to provide effective representation in large, often multi handed complex conspiracy cases where the evidence can exceed 10,000 pages or more.
Chris appears regularly in the Crown Court and also in the Court Of Appeal (Criminal Division).
