Damian Alexander Sabino
Damian Sabino met with managing partner Chris Milligan in 2019, when it was clear that they shared a similar view with regard to how complex and serious criminal defences should be managed, and which sets the firm apart from its competitors. Chris invited Damian to join the team and the department has gone from strength to strength. He is now Partner and leads the department.
Damian, growing up and working within the legal sector within the inner city of Liverpool since leaving school aged 16, first secured police station accreditation in 1998, graduated from Liverpool JMU in 07; going onto post grad qualification and admission to the roll of solicitors in 2011. Having cut his teeth in the lower courts undertaking duty solicitor work he then went on to secure a position as summary, magistrates and Supreme Court advocate in the Falkland Islands, running the criminal department of the firm before returning to UK to take up a position as higher court advocate in the North East before joining Chris and the team.
He lives and breathes work, but outside of it enjoys travel adventures, collecting art and deep dives into recent history of politics, current affairs and world events, particularly anything to do with WW2.
In an effort to give something back he is voluntarily involved in the recovery and rehabilitation movement which keeps things real and has enlisted friends far and wide to get involved.
Specialising in serious and organised crime and in particular defending those accused of importation, distribution and trafficking of Class A drugs and other associated offences, Damian has become the “go to” solicitor for this type of prosecution and has clients nationally and internationally who rely on his calm and measured advice in circumstances where accusations of being concerned or conspiring to supply - whether as part of an OCG, county lines/cross border operation AND has access to the countries leading forensic and data analysis experts, as well as offence specific defence barristers.
